I am halfway certain that I know why it's farmed. To get into good groups with HA teams, correct? And, how do you farm them?

Sorry, I don't PvP much, and therefore have no idea

farm = do something over and over again to gain. Farming fame = picking a gimmick build and doing it for hours to get some fame.

And then there's the 'Fame Services' in which you pay to tag along with someone while they do most or all of the work while you fame up.

these are bannable offenses now aren't they? anyways, u win battles in Heroe's Ascent to gain fame. The more fame u have, the more renown u are as a formidable pvp player. at least that's the general idea.

I think they're still allowed in HA, but bannable in GvG, but not sure.

The farms are for a higher HA rank. This can be either for higher rank to get into groups, or to get Bambi emote ^^
You farm them by "buying" a good group. You get fame for winning a battle in HA, which isn't so hard. Some people want to speed it up or really have zero skills so they pay players to get into their group, and let them win for him so he gets fame without doing much.
